You raise some really good questions here, Ryan. It's a fact that nature thrives and evolves based on variations. What was once considered "abnormal" soon becomes the norm. I guess our new "breed" of scientists/media want the attention over the need to put their findings in perspective.


Interesting...would you say then that the same is the case for people that don't need much sleep? I will often be awake until 3-4 a.m. and back up at 7 with no problems or ill effects. Maybe I just don't need much? Blessed with good genes I guess.
