« Fahrenheit 9/11: Powerful | Main | Reefer Madness »

Critical thinking is not something that usually scares me, however, I feel I have to draw a line somewhere. Balance is something I strive for *religiously* in my life, and I need to find it in this area as well. If I hold a solid conviction about something in life, and feel I have a firm foundation on which to base that conviction, I have to decide whether it's in my best interest to challenge that conviction. Because, in all reality, there will always be someone out there who disagrees with one or all of my convictions and will believe they can prove to me otherwise. Is it a wise use of my time to be constantly challenging what I believe? Can I ever become comfortable and confident in my convictions? Not to say that I never welcome someone challenging my thoughts, but shouldn't some things never change?

Very thought provoking ideas you've presented here!
