Have you heard of the "raw diet"... i.e., eating all of your food raw? (This is different, by the way, than a vegetarian diet.)
Anyway, I was stunned when I came across a reference to this photo comparison on Seth Godin's blog. The woman in the picture went from a "cooked diet" to a "raw diet." Twenty-two months later she doesn't even look like the same person.

What a coincidence... we've been vegan for a few years, recently turned raw vegan, I linked to your blog, and the next day you talk about raw vegans! I frequent Shazzie's site.
Here are two of my fave links about it. They really changed our lives.
www.thegardendiet.com (his e-books are great)
www.justeatanapple.com (also bought his e-book)
Keep up the good work! I enjoy your blog. I think it's a shame that there is so much truthful info about health out there, and so many smart people just couldn't care less.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for writing and providing those links. I'll check them out.
By the way, you use Sonlight Curriculum, right?
I worked for Sonlight for three years. I edited The Beam for one year, wrote a lot of the Special Offer emails, and wrote many of the articles in the catalog. For instance, I wrote the new article "How Literature-Rich Homeschooling Awakens Your Child's Natural Passion for Learning."
So even though you haven't met me, you might "know" me more than you think. :-)

Hi Ryan, cool to know that you wrote that article. And here I was, thinking that John wrote them all. :)
I actually found your blog through Sonlight forums. I read your blog a long time ago, then lost the link. Then you posted about what's really in Chick-Fil-A nuggets, I saw the post, and found your blog again. :)
By the way, since you were so amazed at the before and after pic of Shazzie---have you seen this link? I found it by tracking back through some links from your post.

That pic of Shazzie is in there too, along with lots of other people. Pretty incredible. :)
