The Feckless FDA

In a revealing testimony, Dr. David Graham testified that the FDA is "virtually incapable of protecting America" from unsafe drugs.

Dr. Graham is a reviewer in the FDA office of safety research. While some of his FDA colleagues have criticized him for hist testimony, he still says, "We are faced with what may be the single greatest drug safety catastrophe in the history of this country or the history of the world."

My opinion? Thank God someone has finally had the guts to criticize the shortcomings of the FDA and the conflicts of interest that so often color its judgment.
